The Tagalog phrase Ukay or be Ukayed translates roughly to Thrift or be Thrifted in English. It was a Manila, and now New York City based Vintage store started by my sister and I in 2020. In 2023, Planet Vintage was conceptualized by the brand as a pop-up space for small, filipino vintage stores to sell their items along with Ukay or be Ukayed. The popup space was eventually featured on CNN Philippines and Spot PH.
